Global Entry is the U.S. Customs and Border Protection trusted traveler program that allows preapproved travelers to breeze through the immigration check-in upon their arrival at the airport.

U.S Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents are eligible for Global Entry Program. Citizens of Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, India, Mexico, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Panama, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom are also eligible for Global Entry Program. The process to apply for these citizens is the same as in the United States. However, there are only enrollment centers in Canada, so getting a Global Entry on Arrival is the easiest route for these citizens.

Global Entry provides expedited U.S. customs screening for international air travelers when entering the United States. Global Entry comes with TSA PreCheck benefits. TSA PreCheck offers expedited security screening benefits for flights departing U.S. Airports.

You can file for an appeal if your Global Entry application is denied. But the reconsideration requests can take time.
